The monitoring action carried out by the project is as follows:

• Action D1 - Validation of the system through the analysis of the effective reactivity of the forest in relation to the different types of silvicultural intervention.

The objective of this action is to demonstrate the effectiveness of both the treatments and the adaptive approach to the growth and resilience of the forest.

The innovative approach will be validated with regard to the reactivity of both the wood growth following a thinning and the regeneration dynamics of the beech woods at the end of the rotation time. This will be done by surveys organized in accordance to a protocol drawn up by the scientific partners.
